Original Paraset Knobs
Alan Oatey (MOavn), Lee Bahr (wOvt), and I wish to offer all those wanting to obtain these knobs from the original knob molds at our cost. Alan was able to find the original Paraset knob molds in England that were used to make Paraset knobs during WWII. These Knobs have not been made since WWII. They contain a brass insert with set screw and the brass inserts are perfectly centered in the knob. We are donating our time free for this offering. We feel everyone's Paraset will look more authentic by doing this. Lee will collect the money for the US and Canadian sales in US dollars and ship the knobs from Lee's QTH in Houston, Texas. Once Lee has collect the funds, say over a lO day period, Lee will send the money to Alan minus the charge for a box, shipping, and insurance if included. Alan will have the knobs made and then he will bulk ship them to Lee. Lee then will box them up and ship from Texas in a 3" x 3" x 2" mailer box.. All we ask is you give us a reasonable amount of time to collect the money, have the knobs made plus shipping time. This possibly could be a one time offer, so if you want to make your Paraset really look more authentic, don't procrastinate and miss out on this great offering.
